Eleven Moves Industry Forward with the WBA, Employee Wins Award

4/13/2021, Portland, Ore.—Eleven, the leading managed Wi-Fi platform, joined the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) in October of 2018 and continues to move the industry forward with other members. Eleven members sit on workgroups that include Wi-Fi Device Identification and Captive Portal Onboarding Evolution. Most recently, Eleven’s product manager, Alex Meub, won an award for his leadership and contributions.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors and members of the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) would like to recognize the significant leadership and valuable contributions of  Alex Meub, who represented Eleven Software in various activities at WBA. The WBA attributed the 2020 Project Contributor Award to Alex, this award recognizes his role and relevant contributions to the activities of the alliance. Important to point out this award is attributed by the Project Leads and ratified by the Board of WBA. Alex made significant contributions on the Captive Portals Project deliverables and incubation of the new phases of the work for 2021. Hence, on behalf of the Board of Directors and members of the WBA, would like to highlight the work done by Alex during 2020,” noted Sandeep Agrawal of the WBA.

"MAC Randomization has already had a huge impact on Wi-Fi networks all over the world. Many networks still rely on device MAC addresses being consistent and therefore can no longer deliver the experience they once did to their users. As a Wi-Fi authentication platform, Eleven Software cares deeply about the end-user Wi-Fi experience and believes the best way to solve these issues is through industry standards. Eleven is co-leading the WBA Device Identities Workgroup in order to align device vendors, wireless vendors, and network operators on a set of solutions that provide the best possible experience without sacrificing the privacy or security of users,” commented Meub.

Eleven looks forward to moving the industry forward with the WBA and fellow members.
